Legacy Pledge
As an institution that receives no outside funding to run our program or maintain our facility, we are continually challenged to both maintain and improve our structure and to provide the necessary scholarship funds needed to accommodate all those who desire a Galil summer. We are currently dependent on our families' tuition payments to fund both our operating budget and our capital needs.
A legacy gift (a planned gift, bequest, deferred or estate gift) is an after-life gift that is left by the donor to the camp. Legacy gifts can be dollars amounts or percentages of a simple will; beneficiaries of life insurance or retirement benefits; or more complex estate planning and tax-saving vehicles. Anyone at any income level can give a legacy pledge of any amount to Galil.
Your Legacy gift will afford Galil the opportunity to provide its unique Jewish summer camp experience to a large number of economically geographically, and spiritually diverse families. The legacy gift will allow the program to expand creatively to provide an exceptional experience for youth leadership training.
Our Legacy Society allows friends of Galil to help support our community through the following options:
- a bequest in a will;
- a deferred lifetime gift;
- a life insurance gift;
- through a trust fund and/or foundation; and
- through a retirement fund.
