We want to see you this summer!
Remember what it felt like as the days got longer? That excited feeling in your stomach, knowing camp was just around the corner? The moment that your parents' car crossed the bridge...and you were home?
Even if you're too old to be a camper, there are still lots of reasons to get excited about the summer and lots of ways to stay connected to the Galil community!
Join the first ever Galil Young Alumni Weekend from June 1st to June 3rd! Experience the best of Shabbat at camp including kabbalat Shabbat, euchre, chugim, medurah, Havdallah, musicale, and final mesibah! Sign up online today! By the way, have you seen the amazing video that Alon Hafri made?
The National Museum of American Jewish History is hosting a young alumni event on Tuesday, June 5th and Galil will be there! Will you? Enjoy smores, comedy, networking opportunities, and breakout sessions about your own camp experience. This event is open to all young Jews in Philadelphia, but we want to show our Galil ruach by bringing the largest group of alumni! Questions? Contact Molly Wernick at molly@thecollaborative.org or check out this article from the Jewish Exponent (featuring a photo from Galil last summer!).
Save the date! Galil will host its 3rd Annual Alumni Day on Sunday, August 5th. More information to come soon. If you'd like to be involved in planning or helping us reach more alumni, please contact us.
Lastly, please keep us up to date with what you and your fellow Galilnikim are up to. Share great news here. We love to hear about our alumni's accomplishments!
