Tzevet Galil 2008

Our tzevet (staff) members, madrichim, lifeguards, kitchen staff, and others are chosen for their ability to serve as effective male and female role models in guiding the work and play of our chanichim at the same time as insuring their health and safety.
Our mazkirut (camp directors) is made of college-graduates who grew up in Galil or other Habonim Dror North America machanot and the Shaliach/a (Israeli Emissary). The Rosh (Director), Merakez/et Techni (Technical Director), Merakez/et Chinuch (Educational Director) and Shaliach/a work together to provide a supportive framework in which our madrichim work.
Our madrichim are college-aged and older and roughly 75% have participated in Galil or other Habonim Dror North America programs previously. A majority has spent time in Israel on HDNA's summer Israel trip (MBI) or the yearlong post-graduation program (Workshop). In addition, we normally host four or five Israeli madrichim each year that have had experience in camps or youth groups in Israel. They provide a unique experience for the chanichim at Galil.
