Shalom, Galil Families! This morning, chanichimot awoke to the romkol (loudspeaker), letting them know they had 45 minutes to pack up and get ready for kupah trip! The clear skies and sunny forecast promised a perfect day ahead.
As they bustled about their tzrifim (cabins), a truck made its way around camp, delivering vibrant purple shirts for everyone. Chanichimot slipped on their new gear and made their way to a delicious breakfast of scones, bagels, yogurt, and more.

Before hitting the road, we had a quick round of avodah (camp chores), and by 10:15 AM, the buses rolled out of machaneh bound for The Funplex! Upon arrival, we kicked things off with a lunch of assorted snacks and sandwiches (kitchen staff). Then, chanichimot split into groups based on their kvutzah (age group) and preferences for the day’s activities.

Funplex was a whirlwind of excitement: laser tag, bumper cars, go-karting, and every arcade game imaginable. The claw machines were especially popular; one group pooled their tickets to win a basketball hoop for their tzrif!

Outside, water adventures awaited. For those seeking chill vibes, there was a lazy river, a pool, and a gentle waterfall. Meanwhile, the more daring chanichimot tackled massive tube slides!

At 4:30 PM, as the day wound down, a brief summer storm passed through. But spirits remained high—nothing could dampen the joy of such a spectacular yom kef (fun day)!
Back at machaneh, a stir-fry dinner was waiting for everyone. We ended the night on a cozy note, curling up to finish The Lion King, which we had started a few nights ago.

Laila Tov, Galil!
