Shalom Galil Families!

Today was another exciting day at machane (camp)!  In the morning, the amelimot decided that it was tzevet amelimot appreciation day! To celebrate, they created a beautiful sign with symbols to represent each of their madrichimot (counselors).

The bogrimot headed to the ropes course for kvutza building and trust exercises. It was a blast!

During zman sport, there was a huge game of basketball. Tzevet (staff) versus chanichimot (campers). The chanichimot won!!! We took advantage of the nice weather and all headed to the pool afterwards.

After dinner, our tochnit erev (evening activity) was based around an episode of the cartoon “Total Drama Island”. The chanichimot went around collecting flags and completing challenges like fishing in the creek, paper airplanes, and the rock wall on behalf of their contestant from the show.

Little do they know, shortly after bedtime, they’ll be woken up for aliyah bet! We’ll have an adventure in the woods to simulate the journey to Israel, eat a good snack, and head back to bed.

See you tomorrow!
